Soviet Marshal Belakof Smir

Well, I was planning on making Smir the main antagonist, but decided to go a diffident way with my book, but here's a chapter I was going to use.

Soviet Marshal Belakof Smir was a legend in the soviet military. During the second Russian/Japanese war, the Imperial Army of Japan combine with the Imperial Colonial Militia of Japanese controlled China were set to strike down the new formed Union in its early days. From bases in Mongolia the Japanese make quick work of soviet forces, and have the Union tactically split. At that time, the current Soviet commander was given the option of execution by firing squad, or death by his own hand, he choose his own hand.
Coronel Belakof Smir was promoted to General and was handed the near impossible task of stopping the seemingly near unstoppable Japanese forces, and sending them back into China. At 6’5” he was given the nickname, “The Wall of the Soviet Union” because of both his size and what he’ll do.
Starting in early November of 1926 as the Japanese were getting ready for the final push to Moscow, and planning to do it fast, not to get stuck in the Russian winter. Smir allows the Japanese to take eastern kakistan in order to give time to entrench at the city of Kazan’.
November 26, 6pm, Japanese infantry rush the first line of defenses. After an hour, the middle section of the line has fallen back to secondary positions, seeing that, the Japanese command orders all reserves to rush the line. Every Japanese infantry man and Calvary man rushes the hole in the line. To the Japanese’s commands surprise, the secondary line holds.
To the west of the city a cloud of dust rises. 800 Russia Corrssaks rush from the west, the trap is sprung. The east flake of the Soviet line begins to move east, cutting off the Japanese on the east side. Just as that completes, the Corsaks cuts of the west and rear, completely surrounding the Japanese.
The slaughter only took 30 min to complete before the remaining Japanese and Chinese forces surrendered. Following the rest of the winter, the Soviet’s forced the Japanese back to China. By the war’s end in March 1927, all land taken by Japanese forces where now back in soviet hands. Smir was promoted to Marshal for his actions.

Open your eyes people.

I am half way about to crack and become like the joker, and just work to watch the world burn, just so much corruption, It's really making me go insane, I see no light at the end of the tunnel, the way this nation is going can’t be stopped, we're on a crash course to our own demise, and the people in power know this, but don’t want to do anything about it, or are to hard line on their own personal agenda and/or party's agenda to care about the rest of the nation. It is time for change, but everyone is just talk. Everyone is to involved in their own personal life's to care, it's funny how many people I'll run into who will tell me they don't care about what our government is doing, they don't care about our how our nation is plunging into debt. Yeah the people in Washington are messing up our nation, and have been for a while. But you America our helping, and you are failing your nation in the same way our Senator, Congressmen, and President our. You stand aside and watch, hell, you don't even watch. You just sit in your world and pretend everything is ok. Open your eyes people, there is something terrible wrong with this nation and it’s time you people get educated on what’s really going on.

Here's a map of the world my book takes place in

First Chapter done

Well, here is the first chapter to my book, still not fully sure where I'm going to take it...

Chapter 1
04-15-1933

Lt. Layne Price and the rest of third platoon quietly moved into an unguarded of the section of the Soviet trench along the daunting Emerald Line. It was bitter cold and near pitch black during that spring night in the Snoqualmie pass. The force’s of Imperial Dravin have attempted and fail many times during the winter to take the pass from the Soviets.
The trench floor, still half frozen with mud and ice froze their lower legs as they quietly moved through the trench. Suddenly they approach a sentry, who has fallen asleep. Price slowly pulls out his short sword, a black single edge blade of 22 inches, and slowly moves towards the sentry. The Soviet sentry about the same height as Lt. Price at 5’11”. Price moves towards the man gets in front of him, has Sergeant Morgan Hawks cover his mouth and then Price flings his sword into the sentry’s heart. The sentry awakens briefly before the life leaves his eyes.
“I thought there would be more ruskies around” Price whispers to Hawks.
“Well considering we’ve attacked over 20 times and failed during the winter, they’re not as edgy as normal”.
“I guess, alright the communications room for this section is just around the next bend” Price looks to his watch, “445, in about 15 minutes our tanks will be rolling over this section and onto the ruskie command post, so here’s what we’ll do, sergeant, I want you to take your squad and move south, and take out the observation post and make sure they don’t have a radio hiding around there, I’ll take the other squad and take out the commutations room, we both need to time our attacks so they happen in unison”
“Should I set for 450 hours to attack?”
“Yeah, that should work, alright let’s move out”
Price and his group reach the bend that’s leads to the communications room; he takes a mirror and sticks it out to see who all is guarding the entrance, and whispers to corporal Macleod, “Ok they have 2 men posted outside the room, we have to do this quietly so the guys inside don’t call for help before we get a shot at cutting the lines, cause if they can call for help, this whole assault will fail.”
“So no real pressure then, sir?” Macleod jokingly whispers to Price.
“yeah, I know right, so here’s what we’ll do, I’ll hop out of the trench and move to the bend on the other side of the door. Once on the other side, we’ll both jump out and take use our swords to stab the 2 men, thankfully they aren’t wearing any helmets, then the rest of the squad will rush the room and take out anyone inside, sound good?”
“Yes sir”
Price begins to clime his way out of the trench, the ground outside of the trench was even colder, at that moment Price began to regret wearing the lighter night opts uniform as the cold of the ground began gnawing at his bones. He craws just low enough so anyone looking out the opening in the communications room won’t spot him, gets to the other side and checks to see if anyone is down here before he climes down. Get’s into position on the other bend where he can see Macleod, and signals to him to draw his sword.
Sergeant Hawk’s group just arrived at the observation outpost unmatched, and only see’s three people there manning it, 1 of them asleep, and other 2 staring intently out into nomads land. Only 2 minutes left, till Price would be taking out the communications room. He pulls out his Thomson sub machine gun the other guy in the squad does the same, and begins to count down from 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, he and the other sub machine gunny pop up and riddle the 3 soviets with bullets.
Price hears sub machine gun fire he knows came from Hawk’s squad’s Tommy’s. He nods over to Macleod and they both jump out and stab the 2 guards in the head followed by the 5 other men rushing the entrance of the room that only had a sheet covering it, and after a rustle of gun fire inside, Price walks in to see the carnage. Lying before him were a dead Soviet Major, a dead Lt., and 3 other enlisted men, most likely conscripts. He looks at his watch, 458, assuming the raids on the other targets along the line went according to plan, in just a few short minutes the biggest assault on the Soviet Emerald will begin, and thanks to the job that Price’s platoon and the rest of the other raiders, he knew that the soviets should be deft to the impending doom.

Working on a new book

Going to start working on a novel this weekend, I have allot in mind, I'll release more info about it later. It's going to take place in an alt realty during a war between the Dravin Empire (still not sure if that name will stick but we'll see) and the USSR in what is north west America and south west Canada. We'll follow the tale of newly promoted Lt. Layne Foxworth after taking part in a battle that took a key pass from the Soviets allowing Empire forces to walk into the Emerald City and to the coast.
